We know that change is inevitable. We ask for it. And yet when it shows up, somehow we decide we're not ready for it, it doesn't look like what we think, and then we try to control how we want it to show up, when it should show up....and then if it shows up.... we sometimes fight it every step of the way.
And when we fight it, it can come in hard, unexpected ways.
What if change can be easy?
It's not always easy.
Recently I've had alot of friends and family who have experienced hardships, car accidents, illness, cancer, near death experiences, divorce, relationship changes and so much more.
When I asked them what was happening in their life before the loss or the accident, or the hardship....almost every single one of them said they were asking for change.
They were asking for something different. I know it doesn't make much sense, but when we ask for something different and we continue doing the same old thing....the universe will either gently (or not so gently) nudge us into a different possibility. However, when we ignore the nudges or warning signs, the nudge can turn into a full blown hurricane
Pain...whether emotional or physical can be devastating at the time, but with a little breath, support from people who care about us, and sometimes a whole lot of courage, pain can be a catalyst for something extraordinary.
I remember last year post divorce, I ran head into a brick wall of both personal and business challenges, I found myself on my living room floor...in fetal position, drooling, crying, pouting, and wondering how the heck was I going to get through this one....this one....well it may just BREAK me...
I knew in those moments that if I let myself just BE with the pain, the sorrow, the emotional turmoil, the ridiculous stories, the buying that I was a victim of circumstance (that I chose)...
I KNEW there was so much ease, and joy, and space on the other side...
And it still hurt...and it was still hard, and I wanted to hide and pout and feel at the effect of my emotional doldrums.
What I know about those moments that bring you to your knees....is they invite you to dig deep inside and become greater.
They are there to help you let go of story, and pain, and being a victim...and they are there to illicit a deeper sense of self, a knowing, and deep connection to the bigger picture of possibilities. They bring about confidence, appreciation, and so much more.
When life brings you to your knees...on the other side is a WHOLE NEW WORLD...
And perhaps one you've been asking for but didn't quite know how to get there.
What if change invited a better job, a new home, new beginnings, new friendships, new adventures in business, and so much more?
Would you resist it then?
If you know you are ready for more...
Here are 3 tools I learned about embracing Change no matter how scary it may seem at the time.
The tools of Access Consciousness will invite you to greater awareness and more of you. If you use them and recognize everything that happens to you and your life is there to invite you to greater and more of you. These tools are life changing! Access Consciousness provides a platform of tools and processes to help you build upon a foundation that will allow you to change anything and everything you desire to change!
Are you ready for a whole new reality?
1. What's Right About This I'm Not Getting?
When change happens and it's uncomfortable, the normal response is to ask what's wrong? Why did this happen to me? Where did I go wrong?
Instead of going into the wrongness, what if you looked at every situation as an invitation into a greater world? Think about it...have you ever had a break up and gone into a relationship that was less than the previous one? Or more than the previous one?
It usually turns out better than you can imagine.
It doesn't make the pain go away, but it can make going through it more tolerable. If you knew that everything that challenges you was a doorway into a greater way of being, would that make it easier?
So for absolutely everything that you get upset about, feel at the affect of, get cranky, or want to hide...ask what's right about this I'm not getting? What's right about me?
What's on the other side of this pain I can't yet see?
When you start to flip your perspective, there is a world of joy and energy and magic that will invite you into the greatness you've always known was possible but didn't know you could choose!
2. Stop Resisting The Change You Are Asking For
(It might not be heavy, it might be resistance)
Often times when you ask for change, it almost never shows up the way you think its going to. So it comes in a way where you have to let go of control.
This might go against the way manifestation is talked about....Don't ask for things to show up in a certain time...
Have you ever had someone give you a deadline of when they want you to have sex with them? Is it fun to abide by their timeline, or would it be more fun to play with the surprise of giving and receiving when the energy & mood is there?
Being forced into a deadline never really allows for greater possibilities to show up. It's true for you and it's true for the universe.
So notice where you are resistant to change. Where are you resistant to allowing something greater to show up? When you acknowledge the resistance...it can change.
When you start to trust you, and trust that the universe has your back, greater can ALWAYS show up. So when things get hard, when you remember that there is greater, more, and everything waiting for you on the other side....the challenges can get a lot easier.
When I let go of the need to have things be on a timeline, then everything is possible. Questions I ask when I want more change and I am in resistance:
I first ask...is this heavy or is this resistance? Is there something greater beyond the resistance?
If I say yes, will this create greater? Will this contribute to the life I've been asking for?
3. Get Back Up
A wise man said...it's not how hard you fall, it's how you get back up after you fall. No one is immune to the hardships of life. So no matter how hard you fall, get back up. Do whatever it takes, and whatever you do, don't give up on you.
You are the only person who can truly give up on you. People might reject you, say no to you, not align and agree with you...those aren't your people. If they don't believe in you, it's not your problem.
What matters is you believe in you...and don't let anyone be greater than you because you know more about you and what's inside of you than anyone else. Getting back up is about trusting your knowing and recognizing people can't see what you can see.
I've worked with thousands of people all over the world and what always amazes me is that most people think that the thing that comes easiest for them, is the thing that everyone else can do easily too.
The thing that comes the easiest for you is the thing that is your biggest gift and asset.
People won't be able to see what you see. No one can paint like Pablo Picasso, or write like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, or do business like Richard Branson, or run an empire like Oprah.
What comes easy for you is your gift. So don't let the roadblocks bring you down. They are simply inviting you to discover your inner knowing. So next time you fall, remember that greatness wasn't achieved by not failing, greatness was achieved by getting back up over and over and over again.
Thomas Edison failed over 1,000 times before he invented the light bulb. When a reporter asked, "How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?" Edison replied, "I didn't fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps."
Every moment in our lives is a step toward more, and it's a step on the journey....so whatever you do, don't give up on your journey...just keep looking for people and energies that light your path every time you take a step.
6 years ago, I had a great life, a great relationship, an amazing career, incredible friends, but I still felt lost and empty. I found Access Consciousness, which is a set of tools and processes to invite you into your knowing and into greater awareness of everything in your life.
I thought my life was great before finding the tools, but I now know (thanks to the founders of Access Gary Douglas and Dr. Dain Heer) that there is a life that is just beginning to show the magic, beauty, and gift of everything.
These tools have changed lives, saved lives, and expanded the joy not only for people, but for the planet as well.
These tools are an invitation to the change you desire to have and be..and they are tools that will invite you to truly discover and be the change you know is possible in the world.
If you would like more change....
The tools are available in many forms and the start to your journey can be in many forms via radio shows, podcasts, interviews, and free stuff from facilitators around the world.
And if you are ready for a deeper personal exploration Access Bars & Access Foundation are the stepping stones to opening doorways that will make so much sense to you!
Is now the time to know you can be the change?
