How comfortable are you with your limitations?

It's interesting, so often we try to break through the ceiling of what is stopping us, but we think we need to talk about the story, limitation, or problem in order to get out of the limitation.

These limitations become our security blanket. We hold onto them like proof that it's hard to let go, it's hard to change, it's hard to have ease, it's hard to have everything we want.

Because maybe we don't deserve it, maybe we're not enough, maybe we are fundamentally flawed....

And then when we have a chance to change the story, to let go of the limitation, we struggle to let go of it and give all the reasons why it's hard....

We say things to ourselves like::::::

πŸ‘‰ I want to lose weight, but I'm big boned. I have a slow metabolism, I have no will power, I have never been able to do it long term, even when I lose the weight, I just can't seem to keep it off...

πŸ‘‰ I want to save money, but I have too many bills, I can't seem to get ahead, I don't make enough to save, I don't get paid enough, I can never get ahead...

πŸ‘‰ I want to change my job, but I don't trust that I have the confidence to look for a new job, get a promotion, my boss will pick someone else, or maybe I'm just not qualified...

We all have a pain threshold, where if we get too close to a burning stove, we immediately pull away instinctively to the potential threat of any pain.

We pull away from physical and emotional pain.

We don't want to get hurt.

But did you also know we all have a pleasure threshold?

If we experience too much of what we've decided is a good thing, we find ways to sabotage it, create stories about when the other shoe is going to drop, we wait for the inevitability of pain to move in.

And we pull away from too much pleasure....we are afraid of it and create reasons to allow the pain and the limitation to be normal.

Think about it....

When people are too happy....we say what's wrong with that person!?

When people are sad, or in pain....we figure out ways we can console that person...as if there is nothing wrong with pain, misery, depression, and suffering.

It is more socially acceptable to be in pain, and to choose mediocrity.

You might be surprised to hear this, but it is not as socially acceptable to have a magnificent life, one with way too much money, way too much joy, way too much fun, an incredible job, an intimate relationship that fuels every part of you....and more...

yeah....it's not really socially acceptable to have it all...

😍So limitation becomes our comfort.

Limitation lets us stay within the socially acceptable range of not having it all.

Think about how insane that is....

And yet, I have been witnessing all the places in which I have been using my thoughts, feelings, and emotions to stay within the comfortable box I haven't yet gone beyond...

The mind creeps in and shows me proof as to why I can't....

And I've had enough.

😳 I no longer want to choose mediocrity....

😳 I no longer want to fit in....

😳 I no longer want to dumb myself down around others....

😳 I no longer desire to hide ALL of my magic....

😳 Or make up stories that others can't handle it....

It is not up to me to decide what people can and cannot handle.

It is up to me to LIVE my best life....every day....to envelop every part of me with dreams that light me up, to fill my heart with butterflies, to drive me beyond the logical and to embrace the magic, to take risks, to live fully, and to just GO FOR IT!

A couple months ago, I made a radical decision to have an un-recognize-able life....to fuel the impossible, and to discard all limitations.

What would life be like without limitation?

Honestly, I have no idea, but I know I like the way I feel when I perceive that possibility.

I am starting an 11 month journey of using energy, ease, and yes...dare I say magic....to pull energy every day to create a radical, joyful, and alive life....

Yup....5 days a week for 11 months....

Energy Pulls, Energy Flows, Dream Building, Energy Fueling, Business Creating, Money Asking, Relationship Expanding 11 months....

And you're invited....

That is... if you think that having the life of your dreams is more radically fun than focusing on your limitations....

Want to play?
